Photo Walk - thames path
London Bridge To Greenwich

31st july and 14th august 2019

Pictures from a previous walk

My London Photo Walks give you the chance to visit some of the lesser known photo opportunities in London (and some of the best known ones as well) The groups are small and I’m on hand to provide advice and guidance on getting the best possible shots on the day.

Meet at London Bridge for a coffee and a photo briefing, before setting off along the Thames Path in the direction of Tower Bridge. Following the Thames Path we will pass many exciting photo opportunities including:

  • City Hall

  • HMS Belfast

  • The Cutty Sark

  • Rotherhithe Foot Tunnel

  • Greenwich Naval College

  • Canary Wharf

  • The Working River

When we reach Greenwich, there are many photo opportunities including the Queens House and the National Maritime Museum. We will stop to review our images over a coffee before returning to London Bridge by public transport (there is the choice of train or the MBNA River Bus) The complete walk will take around 4 Hours and the total distance is around 4 miles. Walking conditions are easy on largely paved surfaces

In case the weather is wet, there are a number of undercover areas that we will use instead.

The following dates/times are available

Wednesday 31st july, Starting at 11:00 — £39.00

wednesday 14th August, Starting at 11:00 — £39.00

If you have any questions please email me paul@paulburgess.photography

What you will need:

  • A camera (you can use a phone but you will need a camera to get the best out of the day)

  • Spare batteries fully charged

  • A waterproof (this is England!)

  • Suitable, Comfortable Footware

  • Drinking Water

Don’t weigh yourself down with too much equipment. I did a book of this walk with a camera and the kit lens. Don’t forget; “if you bring it you’ve got to carry it”
